Description

Clem Ainslie, Harvey School student,   Australian Pottery jardinier modelled with applied gum leaves & beetles, naturalistically coloured.        

Signed 'C.Ainslie 1936' , also with instructions for the glazer regarding colours.

This previously unrecorded potter was discovered & published by Moorabool in 2013. A book has been published on her, documenting the unique assemblage of pieces still in the collection of her daughter in 2013.  
Several of these pieces are now in the National Gallery of Victoria's collection.
