Moorabool Antique Galleries, Geelong
We are pleased to offer some fresh additions to moorabool.com.
This week, some interesting ceramics & an elegantly useful ‘Canterbury’ – music stand, perfect for magazines.
There’s not as much as usual, as we are busily preparing for our 2018 Exhibition, opening in a month’s time. Some special items are currently being photographed, catalogued and placed into the Preview Gallery on our website. Feel free to take a look, and ask any questions.
Paul Rosenberg, Alard Pett & all @ Moorabool Antiques
Items will remain in the ‘Fresh’ page for 2 weeks, or until sold.
We’re full-swing into exhibition preparation, with several hundred interesting items to clean, conserve, catalogue and photograph. It’s a diverse collection, from local and overseas sources, ranging from a wonderful English Navy woolwork from the early 19th century with a rather comical lion (more like a ginger tomcat!) to some superbly rare examples of Australian Colonial silver.
There’s far too much to chat about here, so pop over to the Preview Gallery on our website every now & then and you will see items as they get posted online.
Opens Saturday November 17, in our Geelong Gallery.
Some exciting Australian Silver, Including Edward Fischer of Geelong, about to be catalogued….
