An exceptional French Trompe L’oeil  porcelain Terrapin pâté Tureen by Charles Pillivuyt et Cie of Mehun-sur-Yevre.  A fabulously detailed object, by one of the great French porcelain factories. Back stamp reads “ CP&Co Mehun France”. Excellent condition, no chips cracks or breaks. Small rubs to lid. Measure 230 mm long x 120 mm across.
