A rare suite of 12 sterling silver knives from the personal service made for Queen Adelaide, Queen consort of William IV, by the silversmith Mary Chawner, the steel blades by Garrard, the die pattern is known as Adelaide, also bearing her personal monogram to the handle, hallmarked for London 1837, in good condition.
