An exceptional Worcester, Dr Wall 1st period Queen Charlotte pattern slop bowl. Finely decorated in the Imari pallet with underglaze blue and enamelled in alternating panels Iron red chrysanthemum and prunus flowers and green foliage to Queen Charlotte or Catherine Wheel Pattern. Delicate decoration to rim and a single chrysanthemum to interior centre . Fretted square mark with blue circle to base. Superb condition, two small flea bites to base rim. Measures 150 mm in diameter x 75 mm tall. Circa 1760.
