Leopard Fur, Satin Lining Handmade
A genuine leopard fur pill box hat.Black satin lining and gross grain ribbon edge. Dimensions 21" circumference, it sits approximately 3" high (side measurement)
Pill box hats were popular from the 1930s for several decadesThis luxurious example made by a furrier in genuine leopard fur rosette patterns to the side and a delicate spotted patterned section of the fur chosen for the top of the hat. The fur is soft and supple and there is no loss The hat is in very good condition there is a light makeup mark to one area inside the hat on the gross grain ribbon edge only of course this could be replaced easily if so desired.
