New Japanese shipment in store now!

We’ve just unpacked our latest shipment. From exquisitely painted antique lacquer wear, finely crafted shibori haori, colourful vintage ikebana vases and other collectables including contemporary studio vases we are very excited to share our latest bounty with you. The rarity of some pieces is of note. Due to our long-term relationship with a collector in Japan who is retiring, we have started acquiring some excellent pieces from his collection.

Our expert restoration team have commenced work in earnest on repairing and polishing some stunning antique furniture which will be coming onto the floor of our showroom in the coming days and weeks. Meanwhile we continue to photograph, edit and upload new items onto our website. Thanks for being patient as this takes time!

We recently sold our warehouse in Hill St, Cremorne. It has been our storeroom, restoration workshop and showroom for more than 30 years. Loved by many, while overwhelming others, it is a veritable Aladdin’s Cave of eclectic items.

With around fifty pieces of furniture reduced to half price, we need to liquidate as much stock as we can in the lead up to the relocation of our warehouse. The sale includes furniture, textiles and ceramics.
