French ebonised pier cabinet c.1890

This elegant pier cabinet was crafted in France circa 1890. Made from ebonised wood, the cabinet features ormolu mounts and beautiful satinwood inlays that scroll and curve along the cabinet front.

There is ample room inside the cabinet (two shelves) for storing your beloved items such as books and ceramics, and the inner is lined with a velvet fabric. The glass door enables viewing when the door is closed.

The ram’s head ormolu mounts finish this striking piece to perfection and add a sense of glamour which would suit an older home, or contemporary apartment. The edges are finished with a delicate beading that give a classic touch of bling!
