Description
A lovely naive version of the Meissen original (c.1745), this English Staffordshire pottery figure is in a creamware body with a Pearlware type glaze, and dates to circa 1820. It was coppied by Derby circa 1770, and this version was probably copied from a Derby example. Some restoration.
