Description

Worcester cup & saucer, after a French design with ribbed moulding, the saucer with a raised 'trembleuse' ring, the rims painted in underglaze blue with a lambrequin border.    
Underglaze blue crescent mark,   circa 1756  


  2 very small rim chips to saucer, no restoration  

A nice early Worcester cup & saucer, showing the obvious influence of French porcelain from the Likes of Saint Cloud and Rouen, from 30 years earlier.
