Description

Large Chinese Export tankard, the cylindrical body painted with a large-scale panel of figures to the front, reserved on an iron red scale ground, the back with a panel of birds & flowers in black & red, the elaborate handle moulded as a blue glazed dragon.      

Circa 1780.   


 Condition:  some losses to enamels, small rim chips restored
