Description
Representative of the continent of Australia, modelled by James Hadley, 1887, depicting a young Aboriginal boy with club, seated on a tree trunk, reminiscent of the young Hercules, a large oval basket beside him, impressed 'Hadley' to the back of the naturalistically modelled base, marked in puce with the Royal Worcester mark and shape no.'1247' and impressed with a further mark and 'Y12' to underside, 18cm high
