AN 18TH CENTURY, LOUIS XVI GILTWOOD CANAPE EN CORBEILLE - CIRCA 1774.The shaped leaf-and-berry beaded frame with incised seasoned fruit and floral spray cresting and curved ends, continuing to down-curved part padded acanthus scrolled arm terminals, upholstered with loose cushion seating. All covered in a blue cotton - silk, above a floral spray-carved shaped apron, on tapering turned fluted acanthus legs, headed by rosettes. L 199.5 cm.
