AN FRENCH, LOUIS XV PERIOD, DUCHESSE EN BATEAU. CIRCA. 1760.The cream lacquered, shaped canapé, with C-scrolled chanelling and floral cartouches, within moulded serpentine shaped back and seat-rail. The back frame with acanthus leaves carving , shaped armrest supports and seat-rails, above 8 cabriole legs, headed by flowerheads and foliate pendants upholstered in a rich blue chinoiserie silk brocade fabric.
