Khmer, Angkor period, Bayon style, 13th century 
The face in a meditative expression with gently rounded features, full lips, downcast eyes, and long lobes, the hair in flat snail-shell curls rising to a conical top, smoothly polished surface showing excellent patination to all surfaces mounted on custom stand fine example
