A fine early 20th century Art Deco pedestal desk by Wylie & Lockhead Ltd, Glasgow with the original makers stamp. The leather top with Walnut and cross-banded Coromandel frieze above two pedestals housing eight drawers and panelled Walnut back. Footnote: Wylie & Lockhead were manufacturers of high quality furniture and exhibited at Turin International Exhibition . With showrooms in London and Manchester, they retailed their furniture to an international market.
