Jasper, ormolu.
German, probably Salzburg.
Second half of the 18th century.
Of oblong form with semi cylindrical domed lid. The jasper probably sourced from theCarpathian mountains. Old note enclosed “This snuff box was given by George IV toW(?) Kendel of Barrowby who gave it to my farther”.
