Description

This magnificent picture/memorial locket bears the Chester hallmark and is a unique piece of jewellery from the Victorian era.Shaped in a pretty egg shape when closed, the locket features a lovely crest engraved to the side. When opened, the locket unfolds to reveal 7 segments whereby a photo can be inserted in each. The reverse side of each segment is delicately engraved with a beautiful floral motif.This rare piece of jewellery is crafted in 18ct gold and weighs 18.4 grams.
