Dora Jarrett (1895-1983) Oil on board portrait C.1930. Signed lower right. Represented Art Gallery N.S.W.
Dora was a painter, teacher, illustrator, graphic artist and cartoonist. She studied at the Dattilo Rubo Art School in Sydney as well as in Paris. Dora was a member of the Australian Watercolour Institute in the 1930's and her works are represented in the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
