AN 18TH CENTURY LOUIS XV PERIOD BUFFET DEUX-CORPS VAL DE LOIRE. CIRCA 1765. Made of solid oak, the oregin of this buffet is attested by the presence of the shaped cornice and elegant carvings, traditional of the Loire Valley. The shaped cornice, above a pediment decorated with fine outsized carvings, The four doors with richly carved C-scrolled panels with 3 central drawers and shaped apron. The center panels of the doors decorated with outsized foliate Spring flowers motifs and fluted side reliefs. Fitted with bronze cast escutcheons and hinges, on short conforming foliate scrolling feet. Height. 270 Width. 153cm Depth. 60cm
