After Will Dyson - GALLIPOLI - ANZAC DAY / "Funny thing Bill - I keep thinking I hear men marching!"    
Known as 'A voice from Anzac'    
Depicting two ghostly Australian ANZAC soldiers resting by the sea, a lithographic print on large page.    
Print contains lower right signature - Will Dyson,  ALSO signed lower left in pencil - Will Dyson
6 other signatures include (l-r): A Jacka -  W Dunstan   -  W Joynt   -  J Monash   -  R C Grieve   -  G M Ingram

The first 3 and last 2 are all Victoria Cross winners in WWI: in the middle is Major General Sir John Monash KCB VD, an important WWI Australian General.
These individuals all showed great courage under fire, and lived to tell the tale. They are well documented on the excellent Australian War Memorial website. 
There also you will also find the original pen & ink drawing by Dyson which was the source of this print.
Published in the Melbourne Herald on Anzac Day 1927, the initial news print version was followed up by 1,000 copies which were presented to the RSL groups around Australia.
This would appear to be one of these, but is apparently unique in having the signatures of the above mentioned soldiers.

This apparently unique version of the 'Ghost of Gallipoli" is an important record of the social feelings towards Gallipoli shortly after the events. It clearly documents the five V.C. winners, along with Major General Sir John Monash being together in one place in order to sign the work.
