An astonishing one of a kind handmade Art Deco no heat ruby and sparkly white diamond platinum ring circa 1930. At the heart of this exquisite ring is a gorgeous unheated large oval cut natural ruby. It measures 7.3mm by 6.0mm x 3.6mm and weighs 1.5 carats as estimated in the setting. This ruby is as mother nature made it with no heat treatment and no enhancement of any kind. The ruby absolutely glows and the color contrast is divine against the exceptional white diamonds which radiate outwards surrounding it in an asymmetrical setting. To me the setting really reminds me of silver screen glamour. It has scroll and floral motifs and sits wide across the finger making it look completely opulent. The asymmetric setting is absolutely inspired and one of a kind. It's hard to stop looking at it once it catches your eye. In total there are 1.79 carats of VS F/G color diamonds. The total ruby and diamond weight is 3.29 carats. This beautiful ring is a size 7 1/2 US or P UK>. The face of the ring measures approximately 11/16" wide by 9/16" long and rises 1/4" high off the finger (18mm x 15mm x 7mm). It is in good antique condition and is ready to wear. A full appraisal will accompany this unique Deco ring. This is a genuine and rare Art Deco period handmade luxury ring, it is not a nasty modern 'art deco style' reproduction.
