A one of a kind original heirloom quality fine Art Deco circa 1930 hand made platinum Colombian emerald and fine white diamond engagement ring. This unique ring is a rare piece to find on the market today and is an original custom made engagement ring from the deco era. It is exceptional in every way- the feminine design is iconic of the era and only the finest precious gems have been used to make this astonishing ring. This piece is in mint condition. In total it weighs 10.8 grams. It is a one of a kind custom made piece which has been signed by the designer. It is completely hand made. Inside the shank it is marked for 10% iridium platinum used in the era for only the finest luxury jewelry manufacture. Currently it is a size 5 7/8 USA sizing. There is some room to resize. The face of the ring runs 9/16" along the finger (13.6mm). Set in this exquisite original engagement ring are the following precious gems:
* a central 4 claw set Old European Cut Diamond 5.56mm x 5.40mm x 3.60 mm and weighing 0.71 carats in total VS1 clarity as graded in the setting K color
* 16 round brilliant cut VS I/J diamonds each 1.9mm in diameter grain set 5 points in weight each for a total accent diamond weight of 0.80
* 10 calibre cut emeralds each on average 3.4mm by 2mm and weighing 10 points each eye clean perfectly matched for color Colombian This makes the total emerald weight 1 carat. The total fine diamond weight is 1.49 carats In total the precious emerald and fine white diamond weight is 2.44 carats. This astonishing art deco ring is of heirloom quality and is certainly a piece of everyday luxury. It looks astonishing with casual attire, as that signature piece you wear to work every day and to wear to a black tie event. It is a one of a kind ring from the Deco era which is continuing to be a trending era for jewelry collectors internationally. This precious item comes with a full appraisal. This appraisal has been made by a professional Gemologist and accredited Jewelry Appraiser who is a specialist in the field. I adore the slightly asymmetric eye catching style.
