An exceptional unheated earth mined natural ruby and fine white diamond engagement ring dating to the mid 19th Century handmade in solid 18K yellow gold. At the heart of this gorgeous antique ring sits an old mine cut vivid red gem ruby in a dainty daisy setting. This amazing gem is of fine quality and color. It is a large ruby weighing 0.85 carats. Surrounding this glowing precious red ruby is a halo of hand cut VS G color fine white sparkly diamonds. They are the perfect contrast to the stunning red natural ruby. Being old cut diamonds they are far more fiery than modern cut diamonds. There is 0.40 carats of these pretty diamonds surrounding the central ruby. The total ruby and diamond weight is 1.25 carats. This exceptional precious gem ruby and diamond daisy cluster Victorian ring is in excellent condition. The setting which dates to the 1870s and is all original is completely hand made. From the side it has elegant shoulders and in profile the cluster resembles a crown. This heirloom engagement ring is quite timeless in it's design. Currently this luxurious engagement ring is a size 6 USA sizing. It can be resized to any size required at little cost. It is in excellent condition ready to wear.
