An exceptional original natural sapphire diamond and finest quality rainbow moonstone antique bracelet handcrafted from 14K yellow gold. The photos in this case do not do justice to this exquisite bracelet they really don't. It's a one of a kind item never to be seen again. In perfect condition this opulent bracelet dates to the 1930s. In total it weighs 53.65 grams of solid 14K yellow gold. It is marked 14ct on the clasp suggesting it is of English origin from this period. The piece is hand made. A full list of the precious gems and fine white diamonds which have been hand set in this amazing piece is as follows: • 18 diamonds G VS/SI 15 points each claw set for a total carat weight of 2.7 carats • 2 rub over set natural Ceylon sapphires square cut each 5 points 10 points total weight. • 42 cabochon rainbow moonstone 5.5mm diameter claw set internally very clean highest quality each 1 carat 42 carats total • 14 cabochon rainbow moonstone 6.5mm diameter claw set internally very clean highest quality each 1.31 carat 18.34 carats total Total weight of fine sapphire and precious moonstone is 60.44 carats. In total there are 2.7 carats of fine white diamonds in this piece. This makes the total weight of the fine diamonds and precious colored gems 63.14 carats. It measures 7 5/16" long by 13/16" wide (186mm x 21mm). I just adore the amazing sheen of the the rainbow moonstone offset against the delicate filigree links which are like lace. The effect is luxurious and quite ethereal. It's an absolutely astonishing piece from the deco era which is of museum quality. An appraisal shall accompany this item.
