This
beautiful carved translucent celadon nephrite nephrite Lady Finger
Citron (Buddhas Hand) was made in the 18th Century during Emperor
Qianlong's reign. The nephrite is a consistent stunning celadon
green throughout with almost no inclusions. Of exquisite quality for
such a large piece of nephrite the jade is also highly translucent so it
catches the light in any room glowing gently. Very difficult to capture
accurately the closest color in the photographs are the darker celadon
color you see in the pictures. The lighter color occurred in the
photographs because of the exquisite translucency of this special carved
jade statue. It measures approximately 4 3/8" long by 2 11/16" wide by 1 1/4" deep (111mm x 68mm x 31mm). Carvings
of Buddhas hand citrons from this period of the Qing Dynasty are held
in several notable Museum Collections with pride of place including The
