Description

A dainty trembling flower basket ring circa 1950 set with natural rubies, natural sapphires, natural emeralds and fine white diamonds. This stunning ring is crafted in solid 18K yellow and white gold. It was made in Italy in the late 40s to early 50s. The whole basket of seven flowers trembles. The outside blooms move gently and the central daisy trembles moving constantly. A lot of care has been taken here to select beautiful natural gems perfectly matched in color for each red, green and blue flower. The diamonds are very white and have been set in illusion settings so they look much larger. The diamond settings are white gold whilst the rest of the ring is yellow gold. There are 0.10 carats of VS/SI single cut diamonds G in color. In total there are 0.54 carats of round cut natural red rubies. The sapphire weight is 0.36 carats. In total there is 0.24 carats of pretty green emeralds. A total precious gem and diamond weight for this heirloom ring is 1.24 carats. The flower basket measures 3/4" in diameter approximately and rises 3/8" high off the finger (19mm x 10mm). Inside the shank it is marked 18K ITALY. Currently is is a size 6 1/4 US. This amazing mid century ring just puts a smile on your face. It's pretty and it's just so much fun! Quite the talking point. It is in lovely condition with no repairs and no damage.
