An astonishing original completely hand crafted 18K white gold 1930s line bracelet set with gorgeous blue sapphires and fine white diamonds. This sinuous and sexy original Art Deco jewel is amazingly sparkly and elegant. Each of the links moves beautifully and it drapes beautifully across the wrist due to the exceptional workmanship and delicate links. What is astonishing is the immaculate and skilled work to make each and every link by hand which is very seldom seen. You really can feel the difference between the hand made luxury jewel this is and a cast counterpart which may look similar but is much less lithe and sits awkwardly for this. It is snakelike in how it moves. There are 35 links in this amazing bracelet each set with two diamonds and an earth mined blue sapphire. The diamond accents are deliberately smaller than the central sapphire creating more feminine dainty lines quite deliberately with this choice in design. In total it weighs 13.8 grams. It is marked 18K for metal fineness and does test the same throughout the bracelet. The clasp itself is 9K which was done for extra tensile strength of the lower carat gold which makes the clasp far stronger. Every detail has been considered when making this luxurious bracelet. To one side of the hidden safety clasp there is a figure eight security clasp which snaps tightly shut and there is also a safety chain as another added precaution to ensure absolutely secure wear. The inside circumference of this stunning deco jewel is 6 1/8" so this diamond bracelet will best fit an extra small or small sized wrist of 5 3/4" at the most to ensure the fit is comfortable. It sits 5/16" wide on the wrist (8mm). This beautiful bracelet has been stored carefully and is in gorgeous condition. There are no flaws whatsoever I could fine to mention about this sparkling bangle. A full list of the exceptional earth mined natural precious gemstones in this piece are as follows:
*70 1.1mm diameter F color VS/SI clarity 0.75 point claw set round brilliant cut diamonds these are perfectly matched for color throughout
*35 3.8mm round brilliant cut blue sapphires each weighing approximately 30 points with an excellent color match across the entire bracelet. In total this makes the weight of the vivid blue sapphires 10.5 carats. The total fine exceptional white diamond weight is 0.525 carats. This makes the sapphire and diamond weight together 11.025 carats. To make a bracelet like this can take a jeweler several years after an order or commission has been received - this time delay to complete a piece like this one is due to the difficulty in obtaining so many precious gems which must be matched for clarity, color, size and cut. The contrast between the vivid saturated blue sapphires and the exceptional white of the diamonds is absolutely beautiful. I love how versatile this piece is - it is an everyday piece of pure luxury. It can be worn all the time anywhere- casually, to work, to a black tie event. It doesn't ever need to be taken off one's person and can be enjoyed all the time.
