Rare Gold Anchor Chelsea potpourri vase, of inverted pear shape, with superb gilt birds on a mazarin blue ground,the extravagant rococo scroll handles framing a pierced neck and lid with scroll knop, all picked out in gold, standing on a short base supported by four scroll feet.

Gold Anchor mark, circa 1765.
