Description
An impressive proportioned Regency Plaster Bust of Niobe, in Greek mythology - the daughter of Tantalus, the wife of King Amphion of Thebes. The bust has pleasing wear consistent with age. Superb patination to all surfaces, a very pleasing object for a contemporary interior or a traditional study. The ambiance it portrays is wonderful and a fine historical sculpture. height 860 x 580 width x 430 deep
