Edwardian mahogany pedestal desk c.1900

This lovely Edwardian writing desk was crafted circa 1900.

Made from glorious mahogany and featuring satinwood inlays to the drawer fronts and desk top, this desk is further enhanced with an antique green tooled leather top. The legs are in the typical Edwardian style and shape, and are finished off with the original castors for easy placement.

The Edwardian desk has nine drawers with decorative but practical brass knobs, which all run very well and provide ample space for the storage of documents and stationery.

The antique green tooled leather top is finished with a lovely gold detailing around the rim, and is in great condition with a rich aged patina.
