17th Century and later Oak Refectory Table.
Cleated ends and solid plank top above carved arcaded frieze and raised on four turned legs. The carved frieze is only to one long side indicating it may have been used for a servery or side table. English c.1680 with later restoration.

SOCIETY MEDAL
The Gold Rush in Victoria brought many hopeful Scottish Highlanders to the State and with it their deeply engrained culture.
Scottish Societies were established in Geelong (the Comunn na Feinne) in 1856, Maryborough in1857, Melbourne in 1858, Ballaarat in 1858 and Bendigo in 1859.
This medal is described as a ‘Valuable Service Medal’ of the Geelong Communn na Feinne and the only other example is in the Museums Victoria Collection. This medal was awarded to the Secretary of the Scottish Comunn na Feinne Society of Geelong, Mr J S Mackay in 1877.
The obverse features Scottish symbols including the Standard of Scotland, a highlander in full dress and what is believed to be ‘Jerry’ an Aboriginal man regarded by the Society as having Authority.
